The potential bed areas were covered with 2 types of landscape cloth, which had about 6 inches of black soil
on top of it from years of leaf compost, and under that what a surprise, Rocks and Red Clay! (Well I am still in Georgia)
The only thing that bloomed in this bed were azaleas and roses, but with lots of
manure, peat moss and nature's helper this is what I got. You can visit other photo areas for more blooms.

I haven't decided what to do with this bed in front. Right now it's a holding bed.
I've spent more time at the doctor with poison Ivy than I did pulling those mysterious running roots out of this bed.
