New Gardens - Yea! I get to start over from scratch. This is a sample of my 2006 season.

The potential bed areas were covered with 2 types of landscape cloth, which had about 6 inches of black soil

on top of it from years of leaf compost, and under that what a surprise, Rocks and Red Clay! (Well I am still in Georgia)

The only thing that bloomed in this bed were azaleas and roses, but with lots of

manure, peat moss and nature's helper this is what I got. You can visit other photo areas for more blooms.

I haven't decided what to do with this bed in front. Right now it's a holding bed.

I've spent more time at the doctor with poison Ivy than I did pulling those mysterious running roots out of this bed.

Hope you enjoyed your visit and thanks for watching my new garden grow!
